Invisalign is one of our most popular treatments, and an increasing number of adults are choosing to straighten their teeth with this removable set of customised aligners.
Invisalign offers flexibility during treatment (the freedom to eat and brush normally), as well being a discreet option for teeth straightening.
Learn about the cost of Invisalign at Denpure vs the cost of Invisalign around the UK, and whether it could be a good value-for-money option for you below.
The regular Invisalign system ranges between £2500 and £5000. Here at Denpure, we offer competitive rates for Invisalign, which start at £2850, putting Denpure’s rates below the UK average.
Factors that determine the cost of Invisalign include:
Invisalign aligners work in a sequence; each aligner moves your teeth a little closer to their final position.
Before treatment begins, your dentist will use Invisalign’s incorporated digital workflow system to map the movements your teeth will go through. The aligners are designed with this in mind; digital dental impressions are taken of your teeth to ascertain their starting position. The subsequent aligners are then made according to the projected movements your teeth will go through from this point.
There is no reason why you will need treatment, if you stick to your dentist’s instructions, the main one being to wear your retainer.
Once Invisalign has moved your teeth into a new position, you will need to wear a retainer each night to prevent your teeth from moving back out of position (this is also true of fixed braces).
Unfortunately, retainers can’t move your teeth back into their previous position, so prevention is everything once your Invisalign journey comes to an end.
For treatment to be successful within the projected timeframe, Invisalign must be worn for between 20-22 hours each day. Even a few missed hours here and there can disrupt the course of your Invisalign treatment and incur more progress appointments with your dentist (and with this comes additional cost).
If you’re someone who might struggle with the compliance side of Invisalign, you may wish to consider fixed braces, which don’t require you to keep track of how long you have worn them for each day.
At Denpure, we believe dentistry shouldn’t cost the earth, which is why our price point is lower than other dentists in our area. We are dedicated to reducing waste and running the practice highly efficiently, undertakings which allows us to reduce costs for our patients.
Certain dental practices charge more for Invisalign (and indeed for other elective dental treatments) based on postcode. The average cost for Invisalign treatment in London sits at £2770 which means Denpure’s costs are below the London average.
We hold regular Invisalign Open Days, (free of charge to attend) where you can find out more about the treatment and benefit from offers, including a free consultation.
This largely depends on the complexity of the issue, and the type of metal brace you choose.
The most expensive fixed brace available is the lingual brace, which sits on the tongue side of your teeth out of view. You can expect to pay up to £10,000 for a lingual brace, but these are the ultimate ‘invisible’ fixed brace, generally used for more complex bite problems.
Standard metal braces in the UK have an average cost of between £2795 and £4495, whilst ceramic fixed braces tend to cost a little more (as the wires are tooth-coloured and each bracket is made of discreet ceramic).
Our private dental practice offers competitive rates for Invisalign (we are genuinely one of the cheapest Invisalign providers in our area).
We encourage you to attend one of our Open Days if you’d like to speak to our dentists in person, without having to attend an initial clinical consultation.
This is also a fantastic opportunity to see the practice, and get a feel for the environment, so you can decide if we’re a good fit for you.
We really look forward to welcoming you.
